This issue has been solved with the new ArchLinux package of ghostscript 8.64 compiled yesterday. Thank you again.

It definitely is ghostscript: printing works OK after downgrading ghostscript to version 8.63. Is this a general problem with version 8.64, or can it be an issue with the ArchLinux package?

That makes sense. I've got ghostscript 8.64-1 compiled a week ago and updated last Friday. I'll report the problem to the ArchLinux forums. Thanks a lot.

Well, my printer is not connected directly to the computer, but to a D-Link DI-524UP Wireless router and print server, so the line "cp xxx.prn /dev/usb/lp0" is not applicable. However, the generated xxx.prn file is only 72 bytes long: $ ls -l xxx.prn -rw-r--r-- 1 pepe pepe 72 feb 12 18:28 xxx.prn Thanks for answering.

I bought my CP1215 on 14 January and I set it up correctly, so that it worked both in B&W and color modes. A few days ago, however, I noticed that color printing didn't work. The printer just does nothing when you sent a color job to it, but CUPS reports that the job was completed successfully. The printer prints correctly in color from Windows XP running on VirtualBox. I use ArchL
