Printing using Windows CUPS driver

I have foo2zjs setup on my cups server, printing from a linux box works fine. However, printing from a windows box using the cups windows drivers results in no output on the printer. The spool file is generated OK and sent to the printer but I get no output. Windows printing to other printers (using the same cups driver) on the cups server works absolutely fine.

The ghostscript version is 8.62 and the printer is a CLP600N.

Has anyone else had issues (or success) with a similar configuration?

Thanks.

1) Add Printer Wizard in XP.
2) Select:
A network printer, or a printer attached to another computer.
    Next
3) Select:
Connect to this printer (or to browse for a printer, select this option
        and click Next):
    e.g. \\linux\clp600
    Next
4) Select Manufacturer and Printer
    e.g. Samsung/Samsung CLP-600 Series
    OK
4) Select:
Do you want to use this printer as the default printer?
    Next

5) Click Finish

Works AOK here...

Hi,

Yes, it works fine with the proprietary Samsung windows drivers but we've been using the cups windows driver - http://www.cups.org/windows/index.php . Maybe I've misunderstood, but with all our other cups hosted printers we just use this one driver ?

Cheers.
