I installed the driver last week and it works as expected on Ubuntu 12.04 32bit.
text quality is superb.
However, when printing a (color) picture - the quality is not great .
first I see strips (veritical and horizontal). well, not strips, but it seems the picture is composed of small squares.as ife someone layed out a grid on the picture.

I switch the machine (dual boot) to Windows XP . installed the official driver from OKI and this time the same picture came out OK.
I can scan the picture if you want a sample.

not sure, tried several print resulotions 600x600, 600x1200 , tried 2 different 301dn ICM defnitions. nothing really changed.

Ubuntu 32bit 12.04
ghostscript 8.71.dfsg.1-0ubuntu5.5
foo2zjs 20100210-0ubuntu4
foomatic-db-engine 4.0.4-0ubuntu1
