Hello,

I have download and install foo2zjs.tgz package without problems, then make cups, cups find this printer on network, everything looks fine:

C301_10.0.0.3 "Printer is now on-line."
Description: C301
Location: Local Printer
Printer Driver: Generic ZjStream Printer Foomatic/foo2zjs (recommended)
Printer State: idle, accepting jobs, published.
Device URI: socket://10.0.0.3

But, printer does not print.
I would like to ask you, if this type ( OKi 301dn ) also supported with your driver??I would like to ask you, if this type ( OKi 301dn ) also supported with your driver??
I am using gentoo linux, ghostscript 8.71-r6, no gentoo default foo2zjs instaled...

Thank You,

Using the network, What does this say:
$ cd foo2zjs

$ foo2hiperc-wrapper -c testpage.ps > xxx.prn

$ ls -l xxx.prn
-rw-rw-r-- 1 rick rick 15977311 Feb 3 00:13 xxx.prn

$ nc 192.168.xxx.yyy 9100 < xxx.prn

From post 1:

"Description: C301
Location: Local Printer
Printer Driver: Generic ZjStream Printer Foomatic/foo2zjs (recommended)"

"Foomatic/foo2zjs" is the WRONG device driver! You should use "Foomatic/foo2hiperc"

Hi,

Does the foo2hiperc driver for the printer OKI 301dn work fine with the Ethernet
network ?
(and not only with a direct USB cable)

Thanks for the answer.

1) Network and USB are not addressed with this driver. All it does convert one type of data (Postscript) to another (HIPERC) in a filter.

2) Any linux distrubution.
