Output is scrambled on ubuntu 10.04 [solved; redownload, etc.]

Hi,

I just tried to setup my new hp cp1025nw using wired ethernet. I'm using ubuntu 10.04 and removed the foo2zjs package first and then followed the instructions in the INSTALL to install the drivers found on this site: getting the source, make, ./getweb 1025, make install.

Afterwards I added the printer as a HP Jet Direct, provided the printer's ip address and choose the LaserJet pro cp1025nw driver. Printer commands reach the printer successfully, but the output is garbled. See picture: http://img94.imageshack.us/img94/4809/img2485w.jpg

Any ideas on what could be the problem?

Regards,

Christophe

From the Changelog:

2010-12-13      Rick Richardson <rick.richardson@comcast.net>
        * foo2zjs.c: with -z3, use BIH width for ZJI_RASTER_X
          Tested with a real HP LaserJet Pro CP1025nw printer.

        * ICM for -z3 is done. Do: make; ./getweb 1025; make install
          and PLEASE delete and recreate the foo2zjs-z3 printers

Hi,

it works now! Thanks for fixing it so quickly. My dad can print just fine now. I told him to donate for your fine work :)

Keep up the good work!

Christophe
