HP1020 FC16 Landscape printing [not my problem]

Hi,

I am running Fedora Core 16 (3.2.7-1.fc16.x86_64) on an HP ProBook 4530s. The system is completely up to date. This problem led me to doing a complete update.

We have an HP Laserjet 1020 shared on a Windows XP machine in our office.

I followed the instructions for installing foo2zjs and the printer is working fine when printing documents in portrait, but when trying to print landscape it seems that the document is not "rotated" on the paper. I.E. It prints the document as if the paper feed is landscape even though it is fed portrait. (I hope this makes sense)

I have also tried to connect the printer via USB to my PC and it has the same effect.

Anny assistance will be appreciated.

My software doesn't know what the orientation is. Not my problem.

For "libreoffice" in landscape its a bug in libreoffice. The workaround is:

$ libreoffice
File -> Print -> dell1765 -> Properties
-> Device -> PostScript Level 1 -> OK -> OK

Then why does it work when I use HPCups for USB printing? --- And it worked perfectly well with FC15?

Can you at least give me some pointers as to where to start looking for the problem then please.
