I've installed the foo2qpdl driver to use my samsung CLP-310 printer.
I'm using archlinux. I first tried the archlinux package, then removed it and used the method described here : http://foo2qpdl.rkkda.com/
The problem remains :
Whenever I want to print something, I have to turn off then on the printer.
I can print a job of several pages with no problem, but I cannot print several jobs on a row, I have to restart the printer every time. And those non-printed jobs are declared as successfull by cups (I see no error either in the cups log, which put as debug by the way).
According to the log, the foo2qpdl wrapper is run with these parameters :
foo2qpdl-wrapper -z2 -c -r600x600 -p2 -m0 -s1 -d1 -C10 -Gsamclp315-argyll-0.icm
I don't really know what to provide, as there is quite a lot of log and I see no error in it. It really looks as if the printer simply ignores whatever I send it after the first job.
The problem doesn't seem to come from the printer, as I didn't have this behaviour with the samsung 'unified' driver (I had other problems, obviously :) )
So, what can I provide to help debug this, if this isn't a known problem ?
