Printer stops working after a while

Hi,

I installed the newest version of foo2zjs for the HP Color LaserJet CP1215 (downloaded from the website) on an Ubuntu 7.10 computer. The driver works, but after a few minutes the printer makes some noise and the warning LED starts blinking. The printer then no longer accepts any print jobs.

After a power cycle, the printer works again, but a bit later the same problem happens again.

Any ideas?

Regards,
Ansgar

10 * 3 = 30 pages printed fine here on Fedora 8.

Did you check the toner cartridge?

Did you check the USB cables? Poor comms is what happens. Use a powered hub and a good cable (10 feet or shorter).
