I can't get any printing on C5200 with Fedora 14 64-bit [solved; did not read the instructions]

I recently upgraded from Fedora F10 to F14.
The Oki C5200 is networked.

1. On the old F10 (32bit):

Downloaded http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/foo2zjs.tar.gz
Make, sudo make install
Added new printer
socket://OL6xxxx:9100

It did print stuff, but not always.
On some pages it started up the printer but nothing come out.
In compare to windows the speed was about 10% of Xp's speed.
I took considerably long time to get a page over to the printer.
Network speed around 400Kbit/s on a local 1000Gbit system
No noticable cpu load.

2. On the new F14 (64bit):

First test was done with the Fedora drivers.
Second test was done with building same as above (foo2zjs)
Using: dnssd://OL6xxxx._pdl-datastream._tcp.local/
And tested: socket://192.168.x.xxx:9100
Setup indicate: Oki C5200 Foomatic/foo2hiperc (recommended)

Then I uninstall foo2zjs and installed foo2hiperc instead.
Same tests as above.

3. Problem

What happens is that a printout enters the print queue for about 5 seconds,
then a message say the job has been transferred to the printer.
When looking at the network utilization it seems to be no huge package of data as i was on F10.
Each print job leaves the print queue.

The seems to be no strange entries in /var/log/messages or /var/log/cups/..

What can be the cause and how can I trace it.

/var/log/messages

$ cd foo2zjs
$ foo2hiperc-wrapper  testpage.ps > xxx
$ nc 192.168.1.15 9100 < xxx
What does that say?

cd into src directory

[root@host foo2zjs]$ foo2hiperc-wrapper testpage.ps > xxx
/usr/bin/foo2hiperc-wrapper: /usr/bin/foo2hiperc: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

[root@host foo2zjs]$ foo2hiperc --help
bash: /usr/bin/foo2hiperc: /lib/ld-linux.so.2: bad ELF interpreter: No such file or directory

Something wrong in lib?

I got it working now.
During build, make is not detecting 64-bits and thereby build a 32-bit image.
I installed 32-bits library for another app and then solved the printing.

readelf -h foo2hiperc | grep Class
Class: ELF32

Detecting 64 bit in the makefile seems ok
uname -m | sed 's/i.86/x86_32/'
x86_64

The transfer-speed over the cable is still low.
One A4 page takes 38seconds at a steady speed of 380KBits
Current device URI:
dnssd://OL6xxxx._pdl-datastream._tcp.local/

Where is the transport take place.
In cups code or in foo2zjs
Any ideas how to increase the speed?

/Thanks

dnssd://OL6xxxx._pdl-datastream._tcp.local/

is wrong!

use socket://192.168.X.Y:9100

"Then I uninstall foo2zjs and installed foo2hiperc instead."

Note: third parties are NOT SUPPORTED (i.e. foo2hiperc).

From website:
*** DON'T USE the foo2zjs package from:
     	Ubuntu, SUSE, Mandrake/Manrivia, Debian, RedHat, Fedora, Gentoo, Xandros, EEE PC, Linpus, MacOSX, or BSD!
*** Download it here and follow the directions below.

Read the instructions.

$ cd foo2zjs
$ make
$ ./getweb 5200
$ su
# make install

This will compile for 64-bits.

I found the cause of the problem.
I use a common shell script for all my Fedora setup and
due to no version attached to the zip'ed foo2zjs an old
version was used, (already on the home partition), my mistake.

I couldn't find where I should download foo2hiperc.
I followed following
On http://rkkda.com/
Clicked on foo2hiperc
Clicked on http://foo2zjs.rkkda.com/foo2zjs.tar.gz under Download and Install
Downloaded foo2zjs

I builds 64-bit and it runs great now!
