Hey everyone,

First of all, to all the developers, thanks for kindly providing a good driver for this printer. It's very nice of you.

I'd like to know what's the current support status. I've read it works over Ethernet using CUPS but I have read on old blog posts that image support is not very good. I haven't bought the printer yet but it's a bargain around here, at around US$ 250 with toners, and I'd like to buy one if it will work decently under Linux. Does the Linux support give the same quality in printing as doing it under windows?

Thanks,

Gonzalo

Just a warning. The cartridges that ship with new 2600n are just starter units--good for a few hundred pages. The full cartridges are where they make their money. US$75 for black and US$82.99 each for the 3 colors. That's over $300 for replacements, which will be needed fairly soon.
