I'm back to getting 72-byte-output [Gentoo]

I'm back to getting 72-byte-output from "foo2hp2600-wrapper -c print.ps > xxx.prn" ... but when I go to ghostscript directly, running your sample command from http://bugs.ghostscript.com/show_bug.cgi?id=690287 , I get a big file, not 0-byte like that defect says. So I'm not sure what else is in the pipeline that may be broken.

$ gs -version
GPL Ghostscript 8.64 (2009-02-03)
Copyright (C) 2009 Artifex Software, Inc. All rights reserved.

This being gentoo, I have bunches of patches, including the one that you pointed out earlier.

Use gs 8.63 or earlier.
