After following the instructions to install the foo2lava on OSX Leopard,
I can print to the printer but unfortunately, nothing is sent from the
spooler to the device.
I see the queue gets emptied, but the device remains quiet...
Any idea?

Did you use a network address? On Mac:

socket://192.168.1.13/?bidi

OR

mdns://KONICA%20MINOLTA%20magicolor%202530%20DL._pdl-datastream._tcp.local./?bidi

I just reinstalled everything and now it works.
Could be that I forgot to restart cups, the other time :(

I've tried to generate a ICC color profile using the DataColor Spyder3Print device. Is there an easy way to disable color management in the printer?
I've set the color mode to 'use ICM color profile' and the ICM color profile to 'No ICM color correction'. I plan to use the generated icc color profile in photoshop.
The Spyder3Print generated color profile is a RGB one. My prints are way too dark, that's the reason why I've bought the Spyder3Print. Unfortunately, I did not know the normal supplied driver doesn't allow to disable color management. Luckily this one does, I hope.
My prints are still way too dark... :(

Yes. "No ICM color correction" does it.

I've tried the 'No ICM color correction' but still, the prints are too dark... As mentioned, the ICC generated profile is an RGB profile. This one should do, not?

Read "CUSTOM ICC/ICM COLOR PRINTER PROFILE" in the INSTALL file.
