Orientation problem with HP LaserJet Pro M1212nf MFP [not my problem]

Hello, with driver xqx always print in portrait.
Using spor.ps (exampleps.zip), this file show in landscape with evince 2.32, and with online ps view http://view.samurajdata.se/ show in landscape mode too.

But when test print raw, this print in portrait.
Example with spor.ps (Creator: GPL Ghostscript 902 (ps2write))
foo2xqx-wrapper spor.ps > spor.xqx
xqxdecode < spor.xqx
lpr -Phpm1212nf spor.xqx

With explicit landscape orientation not work
foo2xqx-wrapper -ol spor.ps > spor.xqx

But using landscape-1page.ps (Creator: GNU enscript 1.6.4) print fine in landscape.

Tested with Salix 13.37 64 bits
ghostscript-9.02-x86_64-1_slack13.37
ghostscript-fonts-std-8.11-noarch-1

Any idea?

Regards

My software doesn't understand the page orientation. Not my problem!!!

landscape-1page.ps

$ gv landscape-1page.ps
$ lpr landscape-1page.ps

works good, lasts a long time!

With Libreoffice and other postcript files not print in landscape, only work with landscape-1page.ps.

The poscript sport.ps print fine in other printers, but with your driver in commnand line not print in landscape.

Can you do this test ?

foo2xqx-wrapper spor.ps > spor.xqx
lpr -Phpm1212nf spor.xqx

Any idea that why not work in other postscript files?

Thanks.

"spor.ps" is in Portrait mode, not Landscape mode.

Compare:
$ gs landscape-1page.ps
with
$ gs spor.ps

I view in landscape mode.
gs spor.ps

Upload my screen

I check too with online postscript viewer in http://view.samurajdata.se/ (show in landscape too)
Can you check in this online postscript viewer.

My screen with gs landscape-1page.ps (show with 90 rotation anti clock)

It is PORTRAIT mode. Not my problem. Closing.

For "libreoffice" in landscape its a bug in libreoffice. The workaround is:

$ libreoffice
File -> Print -> dell1765 -> Properties
-> Device -> PostScript Level 1 -> OK -> OK

For lp/lpr using CUPS:

The CUPS -o landscape option will rotate the page 90 degrees to print in landscape orientation:

$ lp -o landscape filename
$ lpr -o landscape filename
