Hi,
I just downloaded the source and unpacked it as described in the installation documentation. Anyway I am not able to find the getweb file. So trying to run ./getweb 300 results in something like: file not found.
What did I do wrong?

Oh and I do have another question. I found that the program is open source but I couldn't find out how it is licensed. Is it the gplv3?

Thanks for your help.

Dear Mr,

I use a samsung cpl-300 but I supposed the question is relevant to every printers. When I print mixed texts (color and black characters).

- Are only the color toners used ?
- Are the color toners used to print color and black toner used to print black ?

Dear Rick,

I've purchased an WC3119 and currently seeking a open-source driver for it just because the available (x86) driver won't work on my (ppc) iBook G4 + gentoo linux.

I've followed the install instruction as given and tried to print the cups test page. At least this driver splits a page with the error like, irrespective of which ppd file used:

INTERNAL ERROR - pub
POSITION : 0xd4a1f (870943) <---This line varies.
SYSTEM : H6FW/os_hook
LINE : 1701
VERSION : QPDL 1.40 11-14-2005.

This is with CUPS 1.3.6, GPL Ghostscript 8.62, and a recent (from web) foo2zjs (foo2qpdl) driver.

Thanks,

Hi all,
My intention is to connect a Samsung CLP-300 as a network printer to my linux server. (The printer is connected via USB to a FRITZ!Box that works as printserver - the server has a LAN connection to the FRITZ!Box - printing from Windows XP clients via LAN is no problem)
As far as I understood I need the foo2qpdl driver to work together with ghostscript to make this printer work under linux.
I'm running Zipslack linux version 3.9 on the server based on a 2.0.39 kernel and try to compile the foo2zjs sources for this OS.
The compiler version is gcc 2.7.2.3
The installed ghostscript version is 7.07

Once I run the make command on the linux server (according to the documentation inside the foo2zjs directory) I receive the following error messages:
p8-server:/test/foo2zjs# make
#
# Dependencies ...
#
# ... OK !
#
cc - 02 -Wall -c foo2zjs.c - o foozjs.o
In file included from foo2zjs.c :67:
zjs.h:9: inttypes.h: No such file or directory
make: ***[foo2zjs.o] Error 1
p8-server:/test/foo2zjs#

Has anyone got an idea what causes this errors and what can be done to avoid them?

Thanks in advance

Spook

P.S.: I downloaded the latest foo2zjs package from 3 days ago.

I bought a Samsung CLX-2160N mlf laser printer and foo2qpdl works just fine with it also. Both color and monochrome printing work. During setup I chose to use the printer with the CLX-3160 driver. This was tested with the newest driver from the site and using Debian unstable.
